For years, the South Loop has been a dividing line in downtown Kansas City, a trench of highway that separates the Crossroads from the Financial and Power and Light District. But that's about to change. The city just unveiled the official name of the long-awaited South Loop Cap project — Roy Blunt Luminary Park. And while the name has raised a few eyebrows, the vision behind it is bold: to reconnect downtown with a four-block urban park built over the top of I-670. But let me tell you guys something. A whole bunch of the things that used to define life around here is just not that accurate anymore, right? I'm talking about places that were once local legends, and they're all gone.
So, I guess the Miami housing market is collapsing. Well, that’s the lie that headlines are selling you. But let’s look at the facts. Luxury condos just hit a record-breaking $1,080 per square foot. While the media is out here screaming disasters to drive clicks, the data is quietly screaming boom. 2026 isn’t shaping up to be a crash, it’s a curveball, the kind that catches almost everybody off guard.
All right. So, what if I was to tell you there are towns right here in Michigan that do not show up on the best places to live lists. They're not the trendy towns. They're not the flashy ones, but they're the places that locals fight to stay in. And if you ask them about them, they're probably going to say, 'Oh, yeah, that place is nice.' But change the subject really quick. Because here's the reality. They don't want you to know these places actually exist. They don't want everybody finding out about it. So, in today's video, I'm letting you in on a little secret. I got seven towns in southeast Michigan that locals absolutely love, but kind of hope you never find out about.
