State Road 516 (SR 516), or the Lake/Orange Expressway, is a 4.4-mile toll road connecting U.S. 27 in Lake County to SR 429 near Horizon West. Set to be completed by late 2027, it will feature inductive charging technology, allowing electric vehicles to charge while driving using embedded road coils and compatible receivers.  Construction began in May 2024, with the charging system initially tested on a fleet of vehicles.
