one of the things I love most about DC:it reminds me SO much of Europe.Sure, sure – few moments can hold a flame to the sophisticated silhouettes of Paris & London, the bike-friendly temperament of Amsterdam & Copenhagen, or the relaxed nature of Rome & Lisbon. But DC aces a few important details in multitudes:- gorgeous architecture and urban vistas- easy access to parks and green space- many neighborhoods that have centralized cores with cafes, restaurants, and shopsIf you’re looking for that European lifestyle on this side of the pond, the District should be on your list. Whether I’m driving home along Constitution Ave during golden hour, taking a lap through the Eastern Market farmers market on a Saturday morning, or catching a glimpse of a chic older couple speaking French in Georgetown, I often forget that I’m not elsewhere. When clients ask me about this, I love to tell them about Capitol Hill, Georgetown, and Dupont Circle - but there are a few others that are rarely on their radar. These are the most fun to share ✨Comment “europe” and I’ll send you a page from my notebook 🇫🇷& follow along for more design, real estate, and neighborhood content 💌Ciao,ChesleyDC-realtor with a design & architecture background——#dcrealestate #dcrealtor #dcblogger #dcphotographer #dmvrealestate
